The Starry Night as Clay Earrings

I’ve never been much of a painting-aficionado. Mostly because I cannot paint. At all. And most famous paintings have left me severely underwhelmed.

Van Gogh’s paintings, however, have always appealed to me. I learnt about Van Gogh when an aunt of mine told me a story about a man who cut off his own ear. I had forgotten about him for a while, until I was reacquainted with one of his paintings, the Starry Night, when I came across an outpainting of it generated by dalle2.

And so I decided to create a pair of clay earrings depicting the Starry Night.
